We at EvilAsshole think much of what Steve Bannon says is oddly relatable. Relatable because like most Americans, we are interested in economic and physical security, both of which Bannon speaks of convincingly.
Read his words and we’re quite certain you’ll agree that his vision is one of “Christian Jihad” versus the Muslim world.
Of course “Christian Jihad” is an oxymoron, but it’s not only that –we feel “Christian Jihad” represents a grave threat to humanity.
Why? Because we believe that waging a war under the banner of heaven such as Bannon describes could only be executed by a population tumbling ever backwards into a Biblical belief-system, such as the kind ISIS adheres to in Sharia law, reducing us to the rubble of our most primitive history wherein we burnt witches and made slaves of men.
We think that if Bannon’s belief-system were allowed to flower as a matter of national policy, the result would be chaos; a death spiral of endless “holy war” between tribes — a war that “we” might “win” with much bloodshed but at the expense of burning down Western Civilization as we know it.
And that’s exactly what Bannon has said he wants. In an interview detailed in The Daily Beast, Bannon described how he wanted to “destroy the state”. Going on to say: “I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.” He said: “when everything is a disaster, then you’ll have riots to go back to where we used to be, when we were great.”
Yes, you heard that right– Bannon wants to “make America great again” by destroying it. It’s his enunciated point of view.
That’s why we’ve decided to give Steve Bannon our very first “Evil Asshole of the Year” award.
